My version of {DIY} Burlap Message Board

I'm sharing my version of the ever so famous Burlap Message Board.
I've been wanting to make my own all summer and now it's done. I needed an
area to call my own to display pretty things and stuff that inspires me.

I'm not sure if our kids even know what this picture is. I found this at IKEA with four other
retro looking pictures. I thought it was too cool so I sprayed painted the frame and hung it up.
It takes me back to my college days. Thank goodness for computers.

Allison from House of Hepworths was one of many that inspired and you can
see her step-by-step directions here. I was too lazy to do my own, but I followed
hers to the T. It's easy and it looks like you spent a ton of money. Shh...I'm not telling.

My hubby even put his guitar pin up...
I got the little "Move Mountains" from Marian aka Miss Mustard Seed
at Haven{DIY conference I attended this summer}. She attached it her
business cards, did I mention how talented she is? I'm glad I kept this
and hung it up because it inspires me daily that I "can" move mountains.

Have a blessed weekend-

  3. This is perfectly you. I love that it looks "finished." My bulletin board in my sewing room is a mess!

  4. Love it! I've been thinking about doing a giant one, but can't decide between that or canvases or a photo collage...maybe a combo of all 3? You are awesome in that you actually decide on projects and DO them! :) Looks great!
