Here's a look at my Christmas mantel from last year before I started blogging. This year I
decided to use some new ribbon and brighten things up a bit. I tried to work with what I
had on hand and not spend a fortune on decorations.

Garland is essential on the mantel with two different types of ribbon, pine
cones, and ornament's. I've had the wreath for several years and here's a quick
tip on how to keep the berries red and looking new.
Also used some gold bells throughout the garland, aren't they pretty?
I've reused my shutters to help lighten up the brick and I
added the "S" to complete the look.
Our stockings, I would like to add our names to them
this year or maybe have them embroidered.

ReplyDeleteI love this look - so classic, bright and festive! And a monogram to top it all off - I'm smitten!

It looks wonderful! Love the initial and how it pops beautifully against the shutter. Your garland is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. The initial is the perfect touch. Can you tell me where you got your stocking hangers? I love them. I'm not a fan of the big stocking hangers that take over the whole mantel. Have a good week...hope your preparations for Christmas are running smoothly!
ReplyDeleteLove your wreath! Very pretty Andrea.
ReplyDeleteI really love the huge initial on the shutters.
