I am so glad it's Friday because it's been a rough week. We
adopted this little guy about a month ago and this week we found
a new home for him. When you adopt a dog you really never know
the whole story and what kind of environment he/she came from. He
is very timid, especially with men and consistently urinated throughout
our home after being let outside. Ugh! However, we found an great
home for him with a close friend and as of today he is doing great
and thriving. The mommy guilt is still eating at me and I'm reminded
daily by my youngest about how she misses Max.
(I do miss him too)

To lift my spirits a little I had some retail therapy at Goodwill and
found this cute round mirror, originally from TJ Maxx. Only spent
$4.00 on it, I love to go thrifting!
We can't forget about our friend Layla, and how she loves to be in the way
when I'm taking pictures. Why do cats do that? She's just looking at
herself, I wonder what she's thinking?
Now from some GOOD news, I staged another home a couple weeks
ago and if you missed my initial staging project can check it out here.
It SOLD for about $4000 above the listed price, can you even believe it?
Sorry about Max but glad you found him a good home. It happens...been there before. Awesome GW find and hope the cleaning went ok! Lets chat on Monday! :) Have a great garage sale tomorrow and a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love your mirror! What a great find! Isn't it amazing what you can find thrifting :)

Andrea, how did I miss your staging post?? You did an amazing job! It looked soo much better after. Keep at it. You definitely have a good eye. =) Sorry about little Max. It's always tough deciding to get rid of a pet. It always works out for the best though. Don't be too hard on yourself about it. And I love that mirror! What an awesome score.

Good luck with your garage sale! : )
I'm really glad it's Friday too. Congrats on your staging job. I hope you see continued success and get lots of opportunities. Sorry about Max but if he's in a good home then you did your foster mommy job well. :o) Happy Weekend!

:( Your blog post made me teary eyed only because we just went through the same thing with our two Pekingneses. We had to find them a new home after 2 years of me constantly cleaning up their mess. My daughter hasn't stopped talking about them (I have MAJOR guilt) but I know it was for the best. I found you through Karen at Homes Blog Hop, and am in love with your style. I'm definitely going to follow along :) Hope you'll stop by. Have a great week<3
ReplyDeleteI'm hopping by to say hi as your newest follower! I would love if you would check out my blog and if you like what you see please follow back :)
