Here's a quickie, oh so easy 4th of July project AND it only cost 2 big ones. I was browsing through the Dollar Tree the other day and was thinking...what could I create for the 4th of the July? It had to be
easy and cheap and here's what I came up with.
8x10 black frame and a holiday bag, that's all.
Subway art made easy
All I did was trace the glass from the picture frame and cut it out
to fit the frame.
to fit the frame.
Ta-Da, done...you gotta love how easy it was to create DIY art from
a gift bag.
a gift bag.
I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July! We are looking forward to
swimming, cooking out, and spending times with family and friends.
Happy Birthday America!!
What a great idea! Thrifty and easy - it doesn't get any better than that. You could do this for other holidays or birthdays too. Have a great holiday weekend!

What a cute and creative idea !! Love it !!
ReplyDeleteI love it, Andrea! It just goes to show that cute and creative accessories don't have to cost a fortune or take a day to complete. You've got me thinking of all the other holidays you could adapt this idea for. Wouldn't a whole mantel of various sized frames be great for Halloween or a birthday party. You're a smart chick!
ReplyDeleteLove this! I'm putting it on my Pinterest board - thisblessedlife. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant...and inexpensive. Happy 4th to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you just so clever?! :) Amazing what you can come up with when using a little creativity. Sometimes I can come up with better ideas on a limited budget than I can when I have more money to spend. Isn't that crazy? Great job and very cute!
ReplyDeleteI love this, what a great idea! Looks like it cost a ton of money! I love the dollar store. I'm visiting from Debbiedoos, I predict you will be a very successful blogger. I'm your newest follower, stop by when you get a chance
